      Rubrics are a type of evaluation, with criteria and standards created by a teacher, which justifies other aspects of a student to be taken into account, such as attitude in class, teamwork, presentation of projects...

      How to create a rubric

      Access your teacher profile at https://www.blinklearning.com, go to the Rubrics tab and click on the CREATE RUBRIC to start.

      Then enter a title, a description and select the class from the Level and subject drop-downs.

      Then edit and modify the rules to evaluate:

      1. Skills: each characteristic to be assessed:
      2. Weight: this is the percentage out of 100% that each skill is worth.
      3. Levels: are the points earned on the skill, such as Good and Evil.

      You can delete by clicking on the row/column title or you can add other rows/columns:

      Once you have filled in all the options, click on SAVE

      From here you can: View, Edit, Copy, Delete, Export or Share them.

      You can also create more rubrics by clicking on the plus button.

      How to add a rubric to a class

      To assign rubrics to a class, go to the Classes section and enter the class where you want to add the rubric.

      Then go to the RUBRIC tab of the class and click on the ADD RUBRIC button.

      Choose the heading you want to add from the drop-down menu and click ACCEPT

      Once assigned to the class, you can View, Edit or Delete it.

      How to evaluate a rubric

      To assess with rubrics, click on the rubric title and you will see the list of students in your class. Go to each student's profile to be able to assess them.

      Select the score for each skill, leave a comment for your student and click SAVE

      You will see the grade out of 100% for each student.

      Within each student will be their corrected rubric, you can always log in to edit the results. To finish you only have to save again.

      How the student views the rubric

      From the student profile they can see the score they have had in the rubric linked to their class. To do this, you must enter the corresponding class from the Classes tab.

      From the Rubrics tab of the class, you will be able to access to see your score and the teacher's comments. Just click on the title of the rubric.

      At the bottom of the scores, the student will also be able to leave a comment for the teacher.
