Premium users can use the Calendar feature to create and manage events in their profile.

Access the Calendar by selecting the CALENDAR tab at any time during navigation.

You can browse the calendar using the sections "Month", "Week" and "Day" located above; the arrows located on the right with the option to return to "Today" at any time; or through the mini-calendar located on the bottom right.

There are five different types of events: Homework, Own events, Teacher's events, Parents events, Faculty events and External events.

Homework refers to events that are created when you send homework to your students (see "How to assign homework") and will appear in yours and in your students' calendars, highlighting the day of its due date. Should you edit these events at a later stage they will be automatically updated in the calendars.

Own events refer to your individual scheduled notes that are only visible from your profile. To create your own event, select the "Add event" icon  from the side toolbar in the CALENDAR tab.

Enter the corresponding dates, fill in the details of the event and click on

You can also create Own events by selecting the pencil icon located in the upper left corner of each day.

Teacher events appear in yours and in the calendars of all the students you select (if you do not select any, the event will be shown in the calendars of all students in the class). To create a Teacher Event, you must go to the MY STUDENTS tab and select the "Add event" icon.

Enter the corresponding dates, fill in the details of the event and click on

Parent events refer to events you schedule with your students' parents and appear in both yours and in the calendars of the parents you select (if you do not select any, the event will be scheduled for all parents in the class). To create a Parents event select the MY STUDENTS tab and click on the "See parents" icon on the side toolbar.

Important note: The "Parents" icon is only available to students under 13 years of age.

Next, select the parents you want to include in the event and select the "Add parent event" icon in the side toolbar.

Faculty events refer to events you schedule with other teachers from your school and appear in both yours and in the calendars of the teachers from your school that you select (if you do not select any, the event will be marked for everyone). To create a Faculty event, access the FACULTY tab and click on "Add event".

Enter the corresponding dates, fill in the details of the event and click on

External events refer to events you have scheduled in your Google or Microsoft accounts and are shown on BlinkLearning's calendar when you log in using one of those accounts or log on to them later from your profile.

At any time you can edit events created by you, by clicking on the event and changing its specific details.
